This list isn’t just a random collection of names—it’s the exact resource I wish I had when I started, designed to save you time, frustration, and endless searching.
If you’re serious about landing high-quality, exclusive sync deals, this spreadsheet will give you a huge head start. Instead of wasting hours trying to figure out which libraries are truly exclusive, you can focus on what really matters—creating great music that stands out in the industry.
This isn’t just another generic list; it’s a hand-researched collection of real sync licensing opportunities that could help get your tracks into TV, film, ads, and trailers. Whether you’re just getting started in sync or looking for new opportunities, this resource will save you a massive amount of time and effort.

About Me
Hi! My name is Tom and I have been producing music professionally for over 5 years. In order to be a successful music producer I had to figure out where to send my tracks and how to create sustainable relationships with music publishers. Of course I had no idea what I was doing at first!
It is the greatest feeling in the world when you create a piece of music and somebody actually values it. For artists it is the fan and for us sync producers it is a music library or a music supervisor. But how do you know your music will be in the right hands?
At the start of my career I just had to go with my gut and I didn’t really know what to look for in a music library. My first experience with music publishers was the worst a producer can have. I sent my first 10 track album to an exclusive library and after signing a contract and finishing all the alt mixes everything was looking good. They even asked me to make another album according to their reference tracks which I also did. Then after I finished that the library just stopped responding. It’s 15 emails and 5 years later and up to this day I don't know what happened to my tracks and where they are now.
This was the reason why I decided to research as many libraries as I could to not go through this experience again and avoid libraries who don't treat their producers respectfully. As I was researching these sync libraries I have been gradually putting them in a sheet. Then one day I looked at it and it had 400+ inputs. I was thinking… WOW! .. How did that even happen?
It was right then when I realized I should share this with other fellow producers because no person should have to go through this experience and deserves to be treated like this.

Things to know before you buy..
Once you pay I will add your email to access the Google Sheet document so please be aware that it is necessary to have a Gmail account. This is an evolving database and the spreadsheet gets reviewed to keep things up to date. I am always trying to post the last update in the comments inside the document.
Each row in the sheet belongs to one library and it includes the following data: library name, website, contact for submissions, library status (active or not active) and my short personal note/opinion. My notes usually include what genres they focus on, how active they are in terms of releases and social media etc. Wherever it was possible to find, there is more information on some libraries like size (in terms of how many tracks do they have in their database), location and reviews from other producers.

The directory is focusing mostly on libraries that offer exclusive deals, however, I also included royalty free libraries and inactive libraries. It's because sometimes you come across a library and you can't really figure out if they are active or what their deal is on the first sight.
Under no circumstances try to send mass emails to multiple libraries at the same time with the same music. I guarantee you will destroy your reputation and your relationships very fast. Always pick a library that you think is the best fit and give them two weeks to respond to your submission. Then it is fair to move on to the next one.
To be completely fair and upfront with you.. Please note that this list cannot guarantee you anything. It doesn’t guarantee that a library will respond to you, it doesn’t guarantee they accept submissions and it certainly doesn’t guarantee you any placements. This is simply my personal research that I gathered over the years and you are very likely at a different place with a different type of music. This is only to complement YOUR research and please always do your own before submitting music to a library.

FAQ
1. What exactly is included in this list?
This is a hand-researched database of 450+ sync licensing libraries (out of which around
270 are active) that focuses on the ones with exclusive deals. This directory also includes inactive libraries and royalty free libraries. The database is designed to save you countless hours of research by giving you an option to exclude the non suitable libraries quickly and to only focus on the relevant ones.
2. Are these libraries accepting new music?
Since libraries don’t publicly announce when they’re open for submissions, this list doesn’t guarantee that all of them are accepting music at any given time. However, it provides you with the names and websites of exclusive libraries so you can research and reach out when you feel like the time is right.
3. Will I get future updates if this music library directory changes some inputs?
I try to keep the list up to date but it is not possible to do so with so many libraries right away. I have reviewed the libraries several times already but I try to review at least 10 libraries per 2 months (usually more) to make sure the info matches the library activity.
4. How will I receive the list after purchase?
Once you complete your payment I will add your email address to access the Google Sheet document. It is a one time payment and there is no subscription needed for this. You will have this database available forever at anytime. You will be informed via email usually in less than 24 hours once the access is granted.
5. Can I share this list with others?
This list is for personal use only. Please don’t share it, as a lot of time and effort went into compiling it. If you know someone who would benefit from it, please direct them to this website to support independent creators.
6. What kind of music do these libraries accept?
Every exclusive library has its own preferences, but most work with music for TV, film, trailers, ads, and video games. I tried to include the genre focus with libraries where it was possible, however, some libraries have a closed database available after registration only so it’s not possible to determine the genre focus with each library.
7. Do you offer refunds?
Due to the nature of digital products, all sales are final. If you have any questions before purchasing, feel free to contact me to tgotheproducer@gmail.com
8. Who is this list for?
This list is perfect for music producers, artists, bands and composers who want to work with exclusive sync licensing libraries but don’t want to spend hundreds of hours researching which ones exist and which ones are active. Whether you’re new to sync or already working in the industry, this list will save you a lot of time and effort.
9. Why can’t you just give me the list of the libraries you work with?
Please understand that I can’t directly share which libraries I am working with personally. They would get flooded with music submissions so be respectful and don’t ask me which libraries I work with (these libraries are however included in the sheet as active libraries!). Unfortunately, I can’t even tell you which are the best libraries because I simply don’t have the answer. Nevertheless, I try my best to filter out the bad ones to save you time and frustration.
